Air Fried Sumac Salmon Ingredients

How to Make Air Fried Sumac Salmon

  1. Start by patting your salmon filets dry with paper towels. This will help ensure a crispy skin.

  2. Score the salmon with a knife to allow the juices to seep in and enhance the flavor. This step is optional but highly recommended.

  3. Next, bloom the saffron by mixing it with 1 tablespoon of warm water until dissolved. Brush the saffron mixture evenly on the salmon.

  4. Drizzle the salmon with a bit of olive oil and place small pieces of butter on top. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and sumac. 

  5. Preheat your air fryer to 390F (or 200C).

  6. Place the salmon filets in the air fryer basket, salmon skin-side down. Air fry at 390F for 9 minutes or until the salmon is cooked to your desired level of doneness. The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of your salmon filets.
