This Stokee Tripp Trapp® Chair is one of the most high-end high chairs on the market. Why is it so expensive, and is it worth it?
The Stokke Trippp Trapp chair is considered the high chair that grows with your child. This means that your child can begin using it as a newborn and continue to use it as they grow into being young adults! It was designed to keep safety and ergonomic posture at the forefront, which is super important for growing children.
You can adjust the seat depth and footrest so it supports your child’s back, upper leg, and lower leg. It has a curved seat to allow your child to sit in a natural, fully supported position without placing stress on the developing spine. The comfortable safety harness allows you peace of mind while your little one eats meals with you.
We started putting Olive in this Stokee Tripp Trapp® Chair at about 5 months old. We began allowing her to get comfortable sitting in there while we ate breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We gave her a few toys to play with and get familiar with the art of sitting supported. After a week, we began to introduce some cereal (as per her pediatrician's recommendation), and she was always strapped in, so we felt secure and comfortable!
As I write this, Olive is 7 months old. We are just now introducing solids, and we feel really comfortable with her security in this high chair. This stand-alone high chair is a valuable accessory to our family!

Non-toxic: I am not perfect, but I certainly try my best to buy eco-friendly products for my baby girl. In this case, anything she eats off of should be non-toxic. In this case, the Stokke baby set is made from water-based, non-toxic paint with BPA-free plastic.
